Drawing & Painting

Materials Needed: 

  • 1 set of acrylic paints in tubes. Colors should include red, yellow, blue, and white. (Having good paint is an important part of your student being able to enjoy and do well in class, please see the picture on the following page with our suggested paint)At least one good acrylic paint brush. Round, number 6. (Stiff)

  • Cheap water color set    

  • 2 – 16”x20” stretched canvases  

  • 1 pencil 

  • 1 black sharpie 

  • 1 good spiral bound art sketch book.​

Class 1 (15 students max)

Wednesdays 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Ages 6-18

Tuition: $180 per semester or 3 monthly payments of $60.

Dates: Wednesdays August 12-October 28 (12 weeks)

Art Show will be held on November 7

In these 14 week classes, students will study different drawing and painting techniques, composition, color theory, and the elements and principles of design. Students will be introduced to different Master Artists and learn to compare and contrast the worldviews which influence their compositions.
